Noelle (the old one on the left), opened up the store about 5 years ago without her sister, Bethany. Noelle wanted so badly for Beth to be by her side playing in the store like they did as kids in their playroom. With her powers, Noelle was able to lure Bethany to Tuscaloosa to help her with the store. Since Bethany joined AFU, the store has relocated to a bigger location and the two sisters are having so much fun being together again. They are "playing" store again. (Sixteen years since they last lived in the same town!) Whatever one sister is bad at, the other sister is good at and vice versa. These sisters are polar opposites.


Despite the witch comments, Beth and Noelle are Christians. Their motivation with the store is to offer a safe and wholesome place for families, moms, college students and kids to create and play. It is important to them that a visit to the store is fun, relaxing and happy. God is the Master artist and there is just such a pleasure that comes from creating. They hope you find a little happiness when you sit down and play in their store.

UPDATE:  Sadly, Bethany has just relocated to Florida.  Please 'Boo' at her and console Noelle as she is in a state of mourning. 

 

 You don’t have to share their Christian views to come in. You won’t get a sermon from them, in fact, you might actually feel the need to preach to them. But, God is in their hearts and offer the store with His creative and loving spirit. Noelle and Bethany want to provide a place where people can get away from the outside world, find a little peace, enjoy the company of those around them and create something fun.
